It is a JOY to serve as the pastor here at UMCburg since July 2024!  My husband, Brian and I enjoy family time with our four children (Ben: 21, Luke: 19, Carlie: 16 and Nate: 15). We spend a lot of time in the bleachers cheering on our kids  participating in sports.  

I love working with the children's ministry to provide safe, fun activities for our little ones. As a former school counselor, I enjoy continuing to nurture the next generation of leaders and watching them find joy in Jesus.

Mary is a senior at University of Central Missouri majoring in Music Technology. In addition to her role as a student and the church position, Mary plays in a jazz quartet. 

My role is to ensure the smooth operation of daily church activities. I'm new to the area and enjoy connecting with people here at the church. I work with dedicated volunteers to support the church's mission and community outreach. 

I get the pleasure of leading a group of outstanding people in our choir at 11:00 am service during the school-year. Choir practice is every Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Our group rocks it out with contemporary Christian music and instrumentals every Sunday at 9:30 am making a joyful noise for the Lord. Come join us!

I have been creating joy for our congregation through music for over 60 years. Come listen to the beautiful organ performance in the sanctuary during the 11:00 am Traditional service.

Nelson is a senior at University of Central Missouri in  the Music Technology program. He graduated from the Park Hill School District and is in the drum line in the UCM Marching Band.
