December Gift: Journey Home Shelter & Refuge on Ming Shelter

Why we Give
Funds from this month's Disciple Gift donations will be given to both Journey Home Shelter & Refuge on Ming shelter. Both shelters are in Warrensburg and provide overnight shelter for people who are experiencing shelter insecurity. These two local shelters provide a warm bed, bathing facilities, and laundry services for approximately 30 people per shelter each night.
In addition, we are collecting snacks that can be given out in the Blessing Box that is located near the parking lot on College Street. As we enter one of the most difficult seasons for the unhoused, it is important to provide relief where we are able! We continue to be grateful to those who donate, and we thank you for every gift you give.

We believe that giving back to God from the blessings that God has blessed us is an important part of our spiritual lives. The church budget is based on your giving to the General Fund. Your gift matters and reaches more people with the love of Christ!
