It is a JOY to serve as the pastor here at UMCburg!  As former residents of Kansas City for 24 years...our family LOVES the CHIEFS and ROYALS!   My husband, Brian and I enjoy spending time cheering on our kids (Ben: 21, Luke: 19, Carlie: 16 and Nate: 14) in baseball, basketball, side-line cheering, and competitive cheer.

I love working with the children's ministry to provide safe, fun activities for our little ones. As a former school counselor, I enjoy continuing to nurture the next generation of leaders and watching them find joy in Jesus.

I love working as AV Coordinator. I'm working on a degree in Music Technology at UCM, give guitar lessons, and work part-time at UCM in the AV department. I get great joy in mentoring volunteers who help me product a quality production every Sunday.

Eva Cabrera-Ruiz

My role is to ensure the smooth operation of daily church activities. I'm new to the area and I'm enjoying meeting and connecting with people in my role. I work with dedicated volunteers to support the church's mission and community outreach. 

Keaton Denney

Choir Director
I get the pleasure of leading a group of outstanding people in our choir at 11:00 am service. We practice on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and are always on the lookout for new talent. Join us!

Praise Band Director
Our group rocks it out with contemporary Christian music and instrumentals every Sunday at 9:30 am making a joyful noise for the Lord. Come join us!

I have been creating joy for our congregation through music for over 60 years. Come hear our superb organ and choir at the 11:00 am Traditional service.
We are hiring childcare workers for Sunday morning worship, 8 am to 12 pm.
