The FUMC Disciple Gift for August is the Johnson County Food Pantry. Givers can start contributing food items in the Church atrium and cash donations can be made in church or on the website after July 25.
The Food Pantry is especially requesting canned vegetables, other than green beans, 8 oz tomato sauce, bar soap, cereal, and laundry detergents.
The Church is also seeking volunteers to help clients every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of August from 12:45-3:30 pm at their 137 East Culton location.
You may sign up in the atrium between services until August 30th or call the office at (660)747-8158 Monday-Thursday between 9:00 am-5:00 pm, and Friday between 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
