Each Sunday, we offer two unique ways to connect with God through worship. Feel free to try one or both; you may be surprised at how each service is able to speak to your soul. Although the music and worship styles are unique to each separate service, the sermon is the same.

9:30 am Worship: Looking for something new and something different? Let us recommend Connection. Connection is the service which invites you to connect with God through contemporary music, videos, and weekly communion. There is a lot of excitement and energy in this service, and we invite you to come and check it out. Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, or even strangers to join you! 10:45 am Worship: This service, like our earlier service, draws from a wealth of resources while using many elements familiar to United Methodism. The full chancel choir sings during the school year, and most of our hymns are accompanied by an organist. You will find a joyful community that is learning together how their faith can change their lives and their world. Please check out our Sermons.

What do I wear to God’s house? You will find a full range of clothing options at First Church. Some choose to put on their “Sunday best” each week, while others choose a more comfortable style of clothing. On your way into the sanctuary, you are welcome to grab some coffee, tea, or water. Wear what you want, bring what you want, just know that you’re always welcome at First Church!

What about my kids in worship?

All children -- including infants -- are welcome to attend worship services with their families. In fact, we even have a row of rocking chairs for parents with young children in our sanctuary. However, nursery services are available at both services if you would like to have your children cared for there. A pager system allows us to keep in constant contact with parents throughout the service.
If you would prefer that your children have their own Christian education opportunity while you are in worship, there is an option for each service. During the 9:30 service, our regular Sunday school classes for all ages are offered. During the 10:45 service, children from preschool age through 2nd grade may go to Children's Church after the pastor's message to the children at the 10:45 service.

What if I need assistance with hearing or mobility?

We have wireless hearing devices available. Our newly-remodeled sanctuary offers full access via ramp through the atrium, in addition to automatic doors. If you need a hand getting in or out, just ask one of our friendly welcome team members.
