We welcome you to worship with us in the heart of historic downtown Warrensburg, Missouri. Learn more about our worship services...

First Church is now worshiping twice on Sunday mornings. The first 15 minutes of the Connections Service is designed to welcome and involve children, with a 9:30 transition time for children who wish to attend Sunday school.

During Phase II of the construction project, all worship services will be held in the Family Life Center rather than in the Sanctuary. This change is effective beginning Sunday, January 27. Join us as we experience an exciting time of change, growth, and building of God's Kingdom!
 BUILDING NEWS

Construction on the Preschool and offices is complete (well except for small details!). We've moved into the new space and it is a joy to watch the preschoolers adapting to their new environment.

Phase II of the project, which includes the expansion of the Sanctuary is underway. Unfortunately, this phase of the project brings with it more inconvenience than ever, so please be patient!

Feed My Sheep

“Peter, do you love me?” Jesus asked. “Yes, Lord,” replied Peter. “Feed my sheep,” said Jesus.

This sequence is repeated – not once – but three times in the Gospel of John. Why did Jesus say this same thing over and over? Wasn’t Peter paying attention? Sure he was, but important stuff such as this needs to be repeated. Jesus wanted to ensure that all of us would hear and respond to this command. Throughout 2008, First Church will explore what it means to “feed my sheep” both physically and spiritually. Join us and find out how you, too, can "feed my sheep."

Hunger Relief

June Mission Focus: During the month of June, First Church will focus on local hunger relief through missional giving to the Johnson County Food Center.

July Mission Focus: During the month of July, First Church will focus on local hunger relief for children through missional giving to the Head Start program here in Warrensburg.
